Phantom knock Or Knock

After installing bc 272s and bs springs and retainers , I get like 9 to 18 plus counts. Before cam install the car didnt have knock.

The car also seems to have a slight miss at idle but goes away as soon as i hit the gas. Cruising around the car drive completely normal. What could my issue be.

Do you get audible detonation? I have seen people fail to reset base timing after a cam swap and they were running 40+ degrees of timing under load.

make sure you didn't over tighten the knock sensor. That will make it read high.

Start with checking base timing. Double check cam timing too.
