Passing Track Tech Inspection: Battery Relocation

This is going to be my first year going to the track, so i have no idea what to expect. I bought my car with the battery located in the trunk, but there is no cut off switch. Just want to make sure ive got it figured out. Im going to use this cut off switch Summit SUM-G1432 - Summit Battery Disconnect Switches - summitracing.com and mount it back by the license plate. Then, i think i need to have the battery bolted directly to the floor through the box. Anything i am missing?

I think you also need a sticker or something telling people what thats for. Its dumb that you need one of those and people who have them in the bay dont. Why do they do that?

I believe it's to prevent or help with Electrical fires among many other things. Also the battery needs to either be sealed, or be in a sealed container with a proper exterior vent.

You need that switch, and a sticker that clearly states Off and On.

yeah, but some tracks dont require that, i have mine in the back and they just look for the external cutoff switch (and test it)
does your track have a rulebook you can look through? or maybe you could call them up.
