my paint on my 1998 eclipse gs is starting to look like shit (little scratches, rock chips on the front, ect...........) how can i fix this or what can i do? would i take it and get it detailed? or to a paint shop for a new coat? and how much am i looking to spend?

goto walmart and get some scratchX. its in the auto department. wash the front, dry it, put that stuff on and follow its directions. it should make somewhat of a difference. peace

You could also try the scratch removal/rubbing compund. It takes alot of work, but it really takes out small surface scratches. If they are in the paint it may not work, but it took out alot of small scratches. Just another idea.
