2G P1443 Check Engine Code

P1443 EVAP Purge Control Solenoid '2' Circuit Fault

Anyone know causes, fixes, prices? Thanks

I had the same code on my 95 GS n/t search around a little, Changed the PCV and hose and reset the battery and it never read that code again. You can get them at autozone for about 3 bucks.

I have looked all over my online repair sites and that code is not listed on any of them. Is it the correct P code #? The evap purge solenoid is #12 in this picture.

Those are just for emissions, it shouldn't be any big problems. One of your hoses might be unplugged on your throttle body.

It could be that one of the hoses came off or had a crack in it or even if its all dirty in there, that would throw things off.

reset it and see if it comes back.

worst case, take it all off and inspect it and clean it and then put it back together.
