Hey guys I have a 99gsx auto. My car has lifter tick, so i decided to use seafoam cause it seems that everybodys using it. Well i put some in my crankcase, and drove for a bit then changed the oil. A day later my engine light came on so i got it checked out at Autozone, it came up with the code P1105 which has to do with the solenoid. When my car reaches 3k on the rpms the engine makes some deep tone. Any idea how to fix this i have a link hopefully it works and you guys can hear it...........

You waited less than an hour before bumping your thread..just FYI (mods will slay you for that - just be aware of the rules).

I listened to the video and I didn't hear a deep tone persay, but I did notice what sounds like air being moved in a strange manner.
You have some really knarely lifter tick though!

Does the car drive fine otherwise?
Any other symptoms?

Do a proper boost leak test to see if that sound is actually a leak or possibley even air leaking through the bov, a breather filter or loose vacuum hose.

EDIT: for your p1105 code, look into this:

I'm under the impression that your sound is unrelated to your CEL.

You shoulda saved up a little more money and just bought the revised lifters. Thats what i did and my car doesnt sound like that anymore. I think i got the 3s lifters on ebay for $39 and have put 25k miles on them with no problems.

Sorry i know the rules, its just that i bought the car and was frustrated. When the car reaches 3k the car makes a weird engine noise and seems to hesitate. The car sounds really odd when it reaches 3k and higher.

Have you done your boost leak test yet?
And have you checked out your connections/cleaned and considered replacing (provided the previous methods dont help) your fuel pressure solenoid?

Start with those and if you think you're doing damage with that engine sound don't drive it unless its to get a mechanic's opinion. But I still couldn't hear anything really wild going on in that vid..other than the lifters that is.

Maybe someone else can lend their ears?

The thing is the car was great before the seafoam no problem at all. I was thinking about doing a engine flush, then doing another oil change.
