420A p+p stock intake manifold?

has anyone on here had any work done to their stock intake manifold? just curious as to what gains, if any, I could get from boring out throttle body opening as much as possible and port and polish remainder. any input on after market intakes is cool too. looking to get mxp 60mm throttle body and would hate to have stock manifold hold my numbers back
