Check engine light came on and I just got a diagnostics check and it looks like I need a new back oxygen sensor does anyone know of a place where I can get one for a good price.

Thinking of installing it myself is there anything I need to know before doing it.

I'm dealing with the exact same thing, except I'm not sure which o2 sensor is bad. Looking around, I found that the best price you'll find will be online with an auto parts wholesaler. Online was way cheaper than any place I found in town.

As for tools, all you'll need is an open-ended socket and maybe some WD-40, I believe...

Just did my a few days ago. Check around on pricing, but as for tools you will need a special tool that has a slit in the side of the socket so you can feed the wiring harness through it. You probably could use an open end wrench if you have the room. I had to change my front one and there was no room to use the latter even with the radiator removed. If you need the special tool autozone has it as a lender tool. Hope this helps!

I just installed my new oxygen sensor a couple days ago and the engine light came on again and I went to autozone the code they gave me was the same code I got before I changed the oxygen sensor could you tell me what exactly does this code mean po134 what am I doing wrong.

When I installed my evo3 16g with a tubular o2 housing, I put a new denso sensor in there as well because the old one was no longer working. I had my cel for a while. After the new sensor, the cel dissapeared for a couple of days and then it came back on. It was on for a few days and then it went away again. It hasn't appeared ever since. My a/f gauge is working now, gas mileage has returned to normal, and the car is running better than ever.

I didn't read correctly the first time. But since your talking about your rear o2 sensor, could it be that your cat converter is bad and not the sensor?

if the problem persists even after the rear o2 sensor is changed try doing the resistor mod. You need to solder a.. damn its been a while i think its a 1/4 watt 1 mega ohm resistor into the black o2 sensor wire... i think thats it ill check tho.

I've got this same issue with the upstream sensor, my CEL will come on for a few days then go away for a while, and then it happens again

I was just looking up the code po134 and It say it is the upsteam oxygen sensor that is going bad where is the upstream oxygen sensor located.
