what's up every1. havn't been on the forums for a long while and i should be back complety pretty soon when i get internet back again. i've came out of my little whole and ready to start kicking it again. any1 meeting this week at all and is there a meet planed for the future?

ya it seems dead here without dim. telling everyone where to go and meet and etc... I dont work Friday night, so i will be probally cruisin around OP and Olathe, any one want to meet up?
 
ya Hooah, if you want to we can meet somewhere, I live in Belton, where ever you want to meet, just say so, then most likely i can find my way there.
 
I may be rolling out to OP tomorrow night. I'll call you Brandon if i do, but a lot of people normaly meet at the 24hr fitness place by 135th and metcalf. I think people from the kcsr board are going to be up there. If any one sees a silver notchback mustang with a crunched drivers fender wave LOL thats me:D I wont be doing any racing, my gf will be with me and she tends to abuse me if i even give it a little gas LOL.Justin
 
Ya, i will definetly be at 24 hr. Just to see who is up there, I havnt really raced any one out in OP and Olathe yet, so im excited to see what i can do.
 
im going to head up there at about 8:30...racing is an option but im warning now....bad o2 sensor....so uber rich....so about 5 psi LOL
 
well i guess it was one of those invisable meets/hangouts, b/c i brought 3 other people around 8:45 9:00 and no one was there. So my gang went down to Sheriden's where all these people were hanging out. Then 2 guys rolled up in white turbo 1G, i stared them down, my friend Scott thought it was one of his old friends cars, it wasnt. Then a guy said "backnblack" i said ya, he said twitch, Im like HEY!, whats up, and i meet projectgs, i left and went to a party back in belton, then came back to Olathe and came to my surprise twitch and project were standing in the Price Shoppers parking lot, projects turbo went ka'pooooie, i tried to help with some of my tools but no luck. LOL i have many tools with me in my car. I just felt like sharing my night. Oh and i raced a Probe GT and KILLED IT!!! by 1 car length, and i stayed in 4th till about 90-100, hehe hell ya
 
ahem...i thought the meet was at 930 but still my friend with the *totaled* tsi awd was there at 9 and said nobody was there, we stayed till like 10 then i left
 
damn. missed a meet. sorry :-/ woulda been there, but ive been at the lake of the ozarks for the past week :) oh well. ill be on aim if anyone needs me..and here...but prolly not anymore tonite.

i got my first speeding ticket on the way down there....80 in a 65...bah. oh well....its not like i didnt know i was speeding, so whatever. :)
 
I rolled down there at about 910 or 9:15, before that at about 8:15-9 I was like a whoel 300 feet away in Chilies with my g/f LOL. We went down there and didnt see anyone so we left, I saw brandon and everyone leaving and he called me, but we got bored and went back to my house LOL. Maybe I'll meet a couple of you guys some other time, I'm still looking into getting a cheapie dsm for a daily driver LOL. Justin

i rode up there w/ my friend in his Focus and there was a bunch of cars up there. I was there when ProjectGS borked his turbo. It took us a while to figure out what the cause of all the smoke was from.

Too bad no buddy races up there though. It's just like a car show, but with more stupid people with big egos and (some) ugly cars.
 
yeah man, its cool i wish i would have stayed in kc that night but i duno, anyone goin out tonight?
 
Well I got my car towed back to my house last night and tore into it today and found that the problem was not my turbo but just a simple Blown head Gasket. I kind of wish it would have been my turbo because that would give me more incentive to upgrade it to a 16g or something like that. Anyway I found out that when I installed the head back onto the car the first time I was in a little rush and forgot to clean out the bolt holes that the head bolts into in the block. In turn when I tried to put the bolts back in it got down to the liquid inside and you can't compress liquid so I didn't get the proper torque on the head that I needed. ARP head studs are on the way and should be here on Wednesday and my car will be back together Wednesday night and It will be running again, For the second time. The old saying goes Do it right the first time so you don't have to do it again. later.

Well after I got the ARP head studs put on and got my car running again it still burned hell of oil and coolant so the only other thing it could be is the turbo. So i pull the turbo off and this is what I see:

Needless to say, Yea the problem the Whole damn time was the stock 140,000 mile 14b turbo. The reason I thought the turbo was still good was that I could still spin the compressor wheel because the shaft was broken and the exhaust wheel lodged in the turbine housine.:laugh: 18psi is a little much for it at that age. Ah well 16g here I COME BABY!!!!:thumb: :talon:

:thumb: Nice... glad you got it back up and going. I give credit to DSm's for 1 reason, as fast as they break down, you can get them back up and running just as fast (minus some cash, the contents of your piggy bank, and any loose change floating around in the sofa cushons)

Well If my new turbo were here and on my car I'd be there but it's not so I guess I'll be at home tomorrow. :( Ah well my 14b will be here soon. Coulnd't afford a 16g so I had to go with an almost new 14b.
