I'm talking to Mark Daruis at Overbore.com about getting one of is non-crankwalking 7 bolts engines built. He offers a really good price for a full timed engine, but I wanted to add a few things. I then found out out for things like pistons, rods, t-belt tensioner, oil pump, water pump aren't actually OEM, they are OE. It would be a good amount more to get the motor with those things OEM. Can I get some opinions on this? I've never looked into OE engine parts and couldn't find any info here.

O.E. is what you'd get from Parts Dinosaur.
In fact most of the parts that Parts Dinosaur sells are from ITM.
Rumor has it, ITM makes the parts, Mitsu buys them, throws them in Mitsu boxes, slaps a Mitsu label on the Mitsu box and then sells them for a premium price.

But, when it comes to Timing Components, nothing but Mitsu Boxed Parts go on my engine.

With that said, why do you want to buy a timed engine.
Throw that fresh rebuild on an engine stand and install the parts yourself...

Oh, and 1 more thing.
Jack at Jack's Transmission builds Non-Crankwalking 7-bolts, they will repair or replace!

But, they are a little pricey...

Never knew Jack's did it. Pretty expensive though. I just want what people's experiences are with OE internals...

My friend and I both use OE parts for our daily drivers and have never had a problem. They don't see more than 7k RPM and 50K miles before the timing belt is done again.
