Racing
My car is overboosting to like 17lbs-20^psi
It usually stays at 19lbs-20psi but sometimes passes 20lbs psi.

Its been checked for vaccume holes, exhuast leakes and nothing i dont no what the problem is, it might be the intercooler holds more pressure so i need a external waste gate or something.

Also I put a scanner cause my check engine light is on sometimes and it says something about the injection throttle adjuster.

The 3" exhaust is probably the problem. try a 2.5" downpipe and port the 02 housing. When i bought mu EVO 16g Buschur said to use a 2.5 inch exhaust with that turbo to avoid creep, mark

Hi, I'm boost creep, nice to meet you. You need porting my friend. A data point for you. With my fully ported 14b on my 1G, I can go as low as 10-11 PSI all the way to redline with a full 3" system. During turbo problems, I bolted on a stock 16g with no porting whatsoever. With my boost controller backed all the way out, I was boosting 14, 16, and even 18. Whatever it wanted. Porting is the difference.

Do a search on some porting and get yourself some tools. Areas to focus on include the turbine housing and O2 housing. Don't go too crazy on the O2 housing--focus more on the wastegate side. Remember, you want to make it EASIER for exhaust to WANT to flow through the wastegate.
