Opinions on taboospeedshop's vacum line removal?

Has anybody had any problems w/ this. Are there any benifits becides a cleaner engine bay(which is basically why i want to do it). Any drawbacks becides emissions testing. Heres the link for thos who havnt seen this. http://www.taboospeedshop.com/emissions.htm

Yes, the stock boost gauge gets its signal from the ECU. That's why it's not a "real" boost gauge-- it's just an estimate of what the ECU thinks the boost is.

I wouldn't run the boost gauge off the same line as the fuel pressure solenoid. The cleaner the reading it gets the better.
