I havent been able to find much current information on the polyurthane/aluminum bushing combos that are out there.
I wanted to get some opinions from people who have been running the split motorsports and UMS tuning bushings. Both sets look pretty good but the UMS ones are 50 dollars more then the Split motorsports bushings but also appear to have more poly.
On a side note, a few months ago I had one of my 2g rear diff bushings go bad and I could hear the drive shaft making noise and causing all kinda chaos while making tight turns in a parking lot. I replaced the one bracket and bushing and it fixed the problem for a while but Im back to that sound of drive shaft noise again and periodic vibrations while cruising down the high way. Some days my car is smooth as glass going down the highway at 80 mph and other days I have so much shimmy in the steering wheel and chassis vibration that I cant wait to get out of it. Im 90 percent sure its because the other bushings are bad in the rear subframe because the drivers side one looks cracked and beaten. Any thoughts or opinions, Its been more frequent with the vibrations it seems.
