i heard that you could only use the dry nitrous kits on the 95 eclipse gs......
which one is better for my 95 gs......thanks........ :dsm:

your getting that confused with a 95 is the only year you can use a dry kit on, the only ones with fpr's. but like jim said, go with a wet kit, you will get more power and have more potential.

ok so since i have a 95 i can use either........nice

i heard that wet kits are more dangerous.......

also my car goes through about 1/2 quart of oil in 3-4 weeks....is my engine safe for nitrous.......

last........what is the safest kit to buy and how much did you spend........ :dsm:

uhhh nitrous is only dangerous if used wrong. if you hit fuel cut with a dry kit, only air goes through the engine, so nothing happens, its just air. if you hit fuel cut with a wet kit, you go slightly lean, for the air that is naturally taken in doesnt have any fuel, but there is just enough fuel for the nitrous "air". unless you leve your foot on the gas without shifting gears at redline for 30 seconds, you shouldnt have any problems. ive hit it a couple times.

do a compression check on your engine.

Technically the Zex kit is the "safest", but that is mostly because a 75 shot is more like a 55 NX shot. zex measures to the crank while most others(at least NX) measure to the wheels. i got mine at no limit motorsports for $535. it was the cheapest i found without going on ebay(dont trust it)

there ya go. ask me any more Q's. oh yeah its really easy to install if you know where the wires go, and i can tell you so it should be a piece of cake.

thanks for your hep gsgoinfast.......

you have answered alot of questions for me. i am going to have a compression test done soon so ill let ya know. so about the use of oil?? think thats okay?? :dsm:

well that is one reason why i said do a comp test. are you leaking it out or burning it up? i dunno what that could be... first do a comp test and tell us your results. then we will take it from there. oh and wait for DSMJIM to come on he knows much much more then i do(thus the Wiseman status) :thumb:
