Depends on what's making it grind. I'll take rebuilt over a used unit any dayBuilt a boost leak tester, and found the boost leak. Now the car runs great except a grinding trans…do we rebuild, or find another trans??

That’s how I feel too. A basic rebuild kit is 500$ from jacks. Then I’d just have to source bearings, and shims. Which seems to be the hardest part. I have a shop press, and splitters at work. Plus a Honda master tech that has rebuilt s2000 trans. I feel like i can figure it all out. Just unsure about parts availability.Depends on what's making it grind.
