Hey, I just wanted to let eveyone know what I picked up from a local guy. He shaved and painted two of my intakes. I have one up for sale in the classifieds and here are pics of the other one which I'm keeping for my car. He doesn't have a site up yet, but is looking to have it up in a couple of weeks and is going to offer shaving and/or intake and other part refinish. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll give you his contact. I told him I would post this up so he gave me a killer deal on them. The company is called Oneoff Custom Designs (OCD). I'm trying to talk him into coming on here as a supporting vender, so hopefully he will do that. Another thing he did offer was blocking off the EGR with fittings as well. I'm probably going to have him do that since my stupid plate keeps leaking and I had to just put the stock EGR back on.

On to some pics. I don't have any installed. I'm gonna wait until I get my other motor put together first.

He got the website up now.

Nice, I like everything SHAVED!

Anything beyond appearance work? Extrude honing? :hint:

Nothing more than appearance at the moment. I was talking to him about porting and whatnot, but he doesn't have any major tooling for anything else. I gave him a list of items he needs to work on so I can have a matched set but since I don't have any extra parts he will have to source some. For me I would love to have a matched intake, valve cover, throttle body, and throttle body elbow at a minimum. As I get spare parts I'm gonna give them to him and let him match them. He is wanting to start some powercoating too. I'll keep eveyone posted if this takes off for him.

Website is up now. Check the top post for details.

Have folks PM if they want. Our advertisers and freelancers pay to advertise. No difference here.

Sorry, my bad. If he gets some business through this place I'm sure I could get him to become a supporting vender. He mostly does stuff with bikes, but is wanting to branch off into cars as well. If anyone wants the info, let me know and I'll send it to you. I'm working with him to come up with some other products. Basically anything I want to have him make for my car.

No worries. "freelancer" status would suit his work, I think. The site was well done, BTW. LOL

I was looking at my intake and I notice I wasn't using some of the mounting tabs so I'm gonna give it back to him this weekend and have him shave off those too. Hope to have some intstalled pics early next week.

I shaved mine the same way when I had my 2G. I also powdercoated it textured grey.

I talked to him again yesterday and he said he hasn't gotten time to add this to his website yet. I'm waiting to put this on until I can get a matched throttle body, plus putting an air conditioner in my garage has been more of a pritority at the moment.
