OK boys and girls. NOBODY ever shows up but I'll ask this one last time. Cars and coffee regular show is March 4th. Even better a special anniversary show at the OKC auto show. Cars and coffee 2nd Saturday March 11th at the state fairgrounds. I should be at both events. If we want a coordinated effort of DSMs THIS will be the show to do that.
Now then...who's going?
This is the 100th anniversary of the auto show so this event should be HUGE. I am guessing this will be THE car show this year and one nobody will want to miss. Discount tickets to the auto show also for all the folks at cars and coffee.
 
Well, working in the oil field makes it hard for me to make this event on a regular basis. I'm out working as we speak and wish i could be there. I want to meet the FEW LOCAL DSM'rs but seems it more difficult than I imagined. I've seen you tube vids of it and would love to go even though I'm not finished with my car. Oh well, all in due time
 
Shootout, BAHAHAHA. You mean the Nissan GT-R car and drag show. What a waste! Id rather take my annual vacation and go to Costa Rica w/ my kids vs go to shootout ALONE. If it was still the DSM SHOOTOUT VS THE SHOOTOUT I'd be all for it. Its waste of time, $ and effort to go and for what? Evo GTR love fest. NO THANKS. Have fun!!

So, because I want to be around DSM's only for OUR MEETS OR SHOOT OUT is why the OKC group doesn't exist? Lol, Wow that's kinda the point isn't it? If I want to just hang out with just "anyone" per say, then why would I go vs hanging out with my buddies and neighbors who are on "TV" with their cars. This is the same feeling I feel when being around MOST American muscle guys or even being around HONDA guys so, why travel to feel like the "outsider/black sheep" when I can stay right here in OKLAHOMA. Would love to just be around DSM's and DSM'rs for sure, just doesn't happen so...

I'm neither bothered nor agitated. We simply disagree on something that, in the greater scheme of things, doesn't really matter anyway. No grudges here. :)

The whole dsm scene in central ok is basically dead. There are still a few of us left :thumb:
Lawton is and will always be a shit show.

Street Drags in Coffeyville Ks on April 29th. It is getting larger and larger every year. Just a post to let any DSMer's that want to take on some Muscle come by! Bring hats, chairs and some lunch, last year the food vendors ran out after an hour or so. Hope to see ANY DSM's there!

So, I'm in OKC for a while for work, anyone local with an AWD dyno who can tune DSM's? Who won't laugh at my T25 oem boost system car?
