Okay, I'm going to make this short. My transmission has been grinding since it was rebuilt. I thought it might have something to do with the oem used flywheel so I got an Xact that I'm going to put it back together with. I found out that the owner prior to me was having the same problem so I'm thinking it is 1 of, or a combination of these things... Clutch master, slave cylinder or the clutch pedal wearing. How can I test any of these possible things without having to replace them and hope that it fixes it? Also what are the most common things to fail. The chassis and these parts discussed have 160k on them.

It's been happening SINCE the rebuild. This is also a new chassis for me so I don't know how it performed before I put this rebuilt tranny in it. It has nothing to do with the transmission internals.

Check your clutch hydraulics to see if they are leaking. (God I feel like I say that every day to someone.) :thumb:

I don't see any brake fluid residue near either the slave cylinder or anywhere near the clutch master both on the interior and in the engine bay. I don't recall ever having to fill it up at all since the car was put together.

you prolly need to adjust both your shifter and your clutch. shifter is easy, clutch is a little more involved. TRE has a good step by step on their website.

Okay. I know how to adjust the clutch but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by adjusting the shifter.
However, I'm swapping the shifter for a 91 shifter assembly that I bought from a friend at the same time that I put the trans back in this week. I also bought a symborski bushing kit for that shifter which will be going in as well.

the shifter should have adjustment for the side to side movement. on a 93 anyways.

How do I adjust it and how will I know how much to adjust it in either direction?
