ok first off Its a 1997 Eclipse GS-t im pretty sure the car came with the infinity sound system.... it has the amp under the passenger seat and this tweeter...is this an infinity stock tweeter??? ... also in the trunk theres a cord coming from the right that looks like there might have been a cd changer there ... does infinity put a cd changer stock in eclipses with there sound system or is this after market?? just missing??? another thing that got me was this cord it connects to taillight ...the taillights are working and i have aftermarket altezzas is this just extra?Ok now to the weird thing.... ok this car has a perfectly clean title not one accedent accept there is these cracks and rust in the trunk what is this from ??? i have after market exaust do you think they just banged on it so it would fit even though it wasnt in the way ....which brings me to my next thing which is my exaust ... i know its greddy but can someone tell me what kind of greddy exaust it is ???? ok a couple more... does this come with the car or is it an option for the car becasue i have 2 gerages and id very much like it if i could make this work with it does anyone know how to set it???? ok one last thing... this is inside the glove box is the on/off switch for the airbag is that in every 2g eclipse???? and what is that botton??? i took a guess it leads to this small light on my hood for a light to light up enigne bay i might be wrong ...ok guys thats it thanx alot for any help and if you need anymore pictures just ask id really like to know what this stuff is... if you could answer 1 or all of them it would be greatly appreciated.....

yes that is the stock CD changer location but no it does not look that way from the factory

what kind of greddy exhaust ? its uhm greddy weather or not its the Race vertion i dont know.

im unsure about the taillight cord ? it should goto somthing.

i cant quite tell were the banged up area is from that pic.


The switch and button are aftermarket - duno what they do but im sure its NOT to turn the airbag off.

There are directions on the homelink website, basically put your garage door opener up to the unit, hold down the button on your visor you want to program, and then hold down the corresponding button on your garage door unit. Its something like that...the website will have better directions.

yeah just got it workin... wow my car has almost all the options on it the last owner was a dumbass though he took alot out...uhhhh I had to do the ENTIRE VACUME HOSE LINES that go to intake turbo and wastegate...he didnt even intall the boost guage right if i could only meet this idiot... anyone else wanna help with anyother pics still a mytery on some...

there isnt suposed to be bass comming out of them

HOLY CRAP i didnt see that pic of the spare tire well. Man o man, Exhaust clearance is the oNLY reason i could come up with for that.
All tho a greddy system fits fine.. maybe the old owner had some rigged up exhaust before?

so what do u think about the stock infinity head idea think it will do better than this P.O.S head i have now will they work good with the tweets i have, and go back to the infinity amp thats still there. ill try to sell that head for 50 and get a stock infinity for 50 from the classified

Most likely a Greddy Evo exhaust , but I'm very suprised that you would buy this car with all these unanswered questions...Seems pretty shady IMO. If you can get in contact with the previous owner I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to help you out.

the cable that is presumably a cd changer looks like the alpine ai-net or the kenwood music keg connector. probably is, seeing as he had mb quart speakers, which are excellent quality. the wire goind to your tails... thinking those are some kind of neons or led lights... hence the shit in the glove compartment. make sense?

im sure u got it cheap so dont stress the little things dat seem out of place. The previous owner must have had a system in the car and must have been a bit of a tool. Either way, welcome to the dsm world, be ready to spend lots of money on mods but you will smoke alot of cars
