Calgary,
Hey Guys, i need some help with my problem.
This morning i turned the car on, i let it warm up like i usually do.
But when i started driving it, a weird ticking noise started, and soon after that my oil press was way down.
i had noticed the oil press dropped to right on the middle line. i just kept checking my oil level almost everyday to make sure there wasnt any leak or something.
Could it be my oil pump?

thanks for any help

Sounds more like you wiped out a bearing, either a balance shaft or crank/rod bearing. Good luck and let us know what you find out so that the thread can be used for future reference. :dsm:

Well cold weather up north means cold starts that make the engine run for a few seconds each time without oil until the pressure builds. Everything has it's last operating cycle as I always like to say. :dsm:
