Oil Under Battery?

I have a major oil leak not 100% sure were its coming from. Any way I am looking under the hood and I see what looks like a pool of oil around the where the battery would be but all the way at the bottom. Is this normal?

From where it is , it almost sounds like the seal from your axle. Jack the car up and look right behind the passenger side to see if there is gear oil leaking from where the axle goes into the tranny.

If you're not losing engine oil,it could be a bad axle seal.Takes about an hour or so,10 bucks for the seal,a couple of quarts of gear oil and you're done.
