I need some advice Guys. My 1g dsmruns,fine but i looks like oil smoke coming out of the turbo oil feed like and exhaust mani. When u rev it it grts worse any suggestions?,i post a vid if i can.

I just took the heat sheild off and it was the coolant like burning instead of oil feed but the mani is still smoking, and i also found out i got a 2 inch crack right in the top center of the mani to

I would suspect that any smoke coming from that area is just fluid coming in contact with the hot manifold.

Let everything cool, buy some cans of brake, carb cleaner, or degreaser of choice and get all oil off the front side of the engine and turbo. Spend 2 hours cleaning it; imagine you just failed tech at a race and the only way they pass you is if there is no oil visible anywhere! (unhappy experience of mine) Then run the car for 15 minutes, shut it off and inspect for any oil.

Areas to check:
Valve Cover gasket
Head gasket
both ends of both turbo lines
your oil pump (all areas and connections)
Oil pan gasket
...and I'm sure I'm forgetting some

If everything is dry then do two WOT pulls long enough to get to the boost limit and reinspect.

Oh yeah, replace your cracks exhaust manifold ;)

Is there smoke just in the engine bay? Check the exhaust for smoke while the engine first starts, is warming up, and is at running temp. Note the color of the smoke as well.

Smoke Color:
Blue = oil
White = coolant
Black = Running rich

All of these should be taken only as a helpful way of diagnosing and shouldn't be taken to the grave. It gives us a great place to start looking. Your engine bay smoke issue is probably unrelated but I would check for signs of a leaking head gasket.

Check for:
Milky substance on your dipstick, oil cap, and radiator cap. (indicative of oil mixing with coolant)
Additional coolant in your coolant overflow tank. When the car is cold take the radiator cap off and watch for bubbles while someone starts the car. (indicative of compressed air getting in coolant lines)
