Toronto,
I been reading that alot of oil pressure can kill a turbo, what are some ways to drop the oil pressure going into the turbo? ( i do have a 50trim going in soon and removed the B/shafts as well)

The easiest way to lower oil pressure to the turbo is to install a restrictor in the oil inlet of the turbo. It should be .075-.080" orfice for the proper oil flow. Most people use a nitrous jet for the restictor because they are easy to find from most any performance shop.

This is also assuming that you are running the oil feed from the oil filter housing. I wouldnt recommend running the oil feed from the head with any Garrett cartidge because you will end up killing the bearings. The oil pressure from the head can be as little as 5-10psi when warm. A Garrett cartidge is designed to run 40-55 psi of oil pressure.

is there any pics of this kind of set up?

so what your saying is to buy like a nozzle (nos jet) into the turbo ?

well yes looks like ill be doing the oil feed line off the 90' oil housing

Yes, I am talking about an nos jet. It should slide into the inlet fitting and a -4an line will seal to it when tightened up. I dont know of any pics for this but it has been discussed many times on here so if you do a search, Im sure you might find something. The only pics I have is my setup installed and complete but nothing to show the restrictor.
