Oil feed/return question

I am going to be pulling my stock turbo off in the next week or two to fix a broken manifold stud. While I am at it I was thinking it would be good to upgrade my oil feed and return lines as the stock ones are getting pretty old.

My concern is that I will most likely be putting on a 16g variant in within the next year and dont want to have to replace the lines. Would the same lines that would fit a 16g work on a t25?

And which would be better from the head or the filter housing?

The return lines are different, the feed lines if braided stainless steel can be used on both. Its better to pull oil pressure from the filter housing, theres more of it (pressure) available and its cleaner and cooler.
