Oil Cooler Leak Help

I just replaced my oil pressure sender on the oil cooler. I used plumbers tape when I put it back, but after 3 days it is leaking slowly again. It is also leaking from one of the plugs at the bottom of the oil cooler (I had removed the plug to figre out what size adapter I needed to install my Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge.) Does anyone know what I can put on the thread to seal the leak? Also, do I need the stock oil pressure sender if I am putting in an oil pressure gauge?

i hope you didn't use the blue teflon tape...

I used the white teflon tape.

Use Permatex #1, not toilet tape. Over-tightening can crack the housing.
