Oil all over

Thanks for checking out this thread guys. ANyway when I bought my car it had a huge oil leak from both the turbo return line and the oil filter itself. I have fixed all of the leaks (I think) but there is oil all over the undercarriage and the sway bars, when I changed my oil I wiped a bit of it off using a rag, but there is tons of oil there and I was wondering if anyone has a better way to clean all of it off. Pressure washing maybe? I wasn't sure if pressure washing would blast off my vacuum lines of mess up anything so I am sort of hesitant to do it. Also on my valve cover there is oil in the part that says 16VALVE and I took the spark plug cover off and there was oil in there as well. I have read that I need new gaskets over the spark plugs or a new valve cover. If I got a new valve cover would I still need the gaskets, and would that fix the leak? Thanks a lot guys.

Take off your valve cover and clean it off. Then look for cracks on both sides. If there aren't any, your old valve cover should be fine. You also might want to get a new oil cap/oil cap gasket as those tend to leak and start filling up the spark plug well.

Autozone has new valve cover gaskets for about $25, get that and it should help.

For cleaning the oil off I would use either A) brake cleaner B) engine degreaser of sorts...Either Castrol Spray bottle or a foaming one. Pressure washing is fine as long as you cover your air filter is it is exposed and maybe your battery. I've done it before after foam cleaning and it works really well.
