odd starting and a halfboost thing

Recently i had the head and whatnot redone on my car. The garage was pretty shady about it and didnt like cooperating and charged me more than they should have. However i got the car back and when the car is cold it take liek 5-10 mins of cranking for it to start completely. It will kick around once in awhile and run crappy for like 1 second then shut off, but then eventually start and run like on 3 cylinders for a few seconds then kick to all 4. Once the car is warm though it starts right up. Is there a reason for this. Is it possible leaky caps would cause this. Also i boguht a 14b off this kid and he gave me a "half boost" actuator and im confused as to what the deal is with that. If anyone knows id appreciate it. Thanks

Did you check you plugs and wires? How about you fuses? Is you timing set right? Do you know anyone you can swap ecus with to find out if that's your problem?

if my timing was wrong wouldnt the car run like crap all the time? the plugs are new and the wires are fairly new. my frind has an ecu but its chopped for 660cc. i had a feeling that would conflict with my car
