Odd coolant leak

Driving home tonight and i smelled coolant in the cabin while the heat was on. I pulled over because coolant light then lit as well, and noticed a small spray leak behind the valve cover on the passenger side near the throttle body. It was night so I cant quite identify the leak. Could it be a hose leading to the thermostat?

i would check your heater hoses.

You could also be leaking from one of the heater hoses that go into the firewall. Best bet is to wait till it's well lit, dry everything off, and then run the car and see if you can pinpoint the leak.

Whew, do the heater hoses run thru that area? they looked kind of old when I peaked in but since it was dark and wet couldnt pinpoint. lucky I have a good length of the hose.

ALSO, steam was coming thru the vents in my car that was a big symptom haha.
