i have a 1990 eclipse gs n/t 4g63. the car will shift great into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd but will not go into overdrive at all. when i hit the od button the car just stays at the same rpm and dose not do any thing. so at like 70 mph im at 4k and my gas mileage is horrible.
the tranny fluid looks and smells normal. there is no weird noises or weird shifts. so im kinda lost.
when i drive it in the city i keep the od off and when i hit the freeway or highway is when i turn it back on. this car is babied since its my dd.
any help would be great.
