OC Mini-Meet

Anyone interested in meeting up in OC? June 10th and 11th is the OC car and truck show. A group of us will be heading up there and are going to try to meet up with fellow DSMers outside of Ocean Pines off of route 90. Right now we are looking to meet around 10am and then caravan up to the show around 12pm on Saturday the 10th. What are your thoughts? Anyone interested?

i remember going to the OC meet a couple of years back. It was a really good time. I'll check the calender. I would love to roll out there with the crew for a weekend.

I will be going down with my Fiance, daughter and some friends. I should have my GVR4 up and running by then. I would love to hang out, did it 3 years ago at Hooters. I'll let you know.

I'll be there that whole week, supposed to leave the 10th. I get my license back 3 DAYS LATER so I won't have my car, or a way to stay there for the rest of that weekend.

Sorry to hear about your license. I hope all goes well with that. Furthermore, I am going to propose that we may meet both outside Ocean Pines and at Hooters. I also have a thread going at Team Trinity's site who I will be traveling with that weekend (looks like I won't have the Targa on the road by then ) and meeting outside ocean pines being that is where we are staying. We will then caravan to Hooters to meet up with anyone that may show there. After that I thought it would be fun to take the long way to the Convention center and drive to the inlet in a caravan of DSM's and then back up to the Convention center. I think so far we will have 5 or so providing a couple are road worthy by then. Spread the word. It would be kewl to see 20 DSM's "cruising the strip" and terrorizing OC.

I usually head out that way since my girlfriend goes to Salisbury. I might try to free up that weekend. I agree about hooters though. everyone in the world who is into cars had been there it seems (just went last year for H2O International, the VW crew)

I know man, I want nothing more than to do that. I'd drive and risk it, but I got caught once already and have to go to court for it, so I figured it's just not worth it.

But, on the other hand, I put the Talon in the shop to get repainted, and will be getting a lot of maintenance done on it along with a few little mods. So when I can drive again, I'm going to love the car 100 times more than I did before

Gotta check with the wifee but I will post as soon as I know for sure. I spend a lot of time in the Aberdeen/Bel Air area and would like to meet up with some local members from this area.

This weekend is like a huge thing apparently, there's every kind of car, idiots race down Coastal Highway, burnouts, and what not. I've never been to the car cruise, so this is my first time.

The car cruise sounds like a great time, unfortunatly I will be working all weekend at APG and won't have time to do much but sleep. Are there any local get togethers held on regular times like parking lot or car dealer lots though.

yea there is alot in the summerafter labor day weekend ill be setting one up theres always a good turn out for these meets but we do have quite a few meets up here

I live near annapolis and am also going to OC on those dates. lets organize something official.
