OBX Green?

Has anyone tried this particular Turbo. I know many people have used others such as the knock-off 35r's, evo 3, and 20 gs but I'm hoping someone with experience directly with the OBX Green can chime in and fill me in on their experience with it.

Its an ebay turbo, dont expect much more than an expensive paperweight. Take a look in the classifieds and find an MHI 16g for around the same price.

OBx not oem, thread just on obx turbos, try ebay, classifieds, or freelancer on here is your best bet for
finding something youll be happy with, and is reliable.

All I do is rant about how crappy those Ebay turbos are, and it seems people are not searching the forums. Because it is clear that ONLY BRAND NAME PROVEN TURBOS will work, anything on ebay TURBOCHARGER-WISE, is a NOGO! go to extremepsi.com!

If it bolts to your engine I wouldn't buy from ebay there are plenty of great vendors and private individuals to buy from.

I'm hoping someone who has actually used this brand of turbo would chime in. Not all turbos from China are the same. For example both Precision and Garret, as far as I know, have components in their turbos that are manufactured in China.

OBX is OBX

Historically low price and made that way.

Don't expect the turbos to be any different.

Setting aside the quality aspect, can you get your hands on real information like trim, compressor maps, etc.

What makes on OBX Green a "Green" besides the name?

What compressor wheel, what turbine wheel, what size turbine housing?

Save your money, wait a while, buy a name brand unit from some place like F/P.

You'll be happier in the long run.
