OBD II power problems

I'm using a palm n' stein data logger. Worked flawlessly for a year. Then I started getting "no rev" error codes. I would say maybe 1 out of every 20 times I try to connect it will work, but the logger will freeze within a minute and lose connection. I go to autozone and try theirs, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
There are tons of questions not only on tuners but just on the web in general about people's OBD II ports not having power. I've checked the usual fuses: power windows/mirrors/locks, cig. lighter, etc, and they are all fine. Could it be a problem with wiring harness? I've spent a long time trying to find this out, and usually people are able to fix it with a new fuse. Not me though Any help would be appreciated before I drop the car off at the shop on monday to have them figure it out. Thanks

read somwhere on here a guy found it to be the aircon fuse.might be worth checking

hmm yeah I havn't heard of that one being a culprit yet. Any idea how to check the status of that type of fuse? It's the black little box kind with four pins.

What your looking at is a relay. Im not sure if it will have a seperate fuse but i believe they do. But im sure you can find away searching to test the relay.

Sounds to me like the terminals on your cars connector spread out which causes you to get a connection then lose the connection. I have seen this once before when I was a mechanic. Expect to spend over $100 just on labor. The mechainc will have to remove each wire and replace each terminal(or whatever you want to call them).
