So I purchased a tsudo awd catback from ebay and all was good. I also purchased an o2 eliminator dp to go with it. The problem is that the o2 bung puts the sensor right into the water tube running in front of the block. I have emailed the vendor cxracing and they havent replied in over a week.

I decided on purchasing another (this time separate parts) tublar o2 housing and dp from ebay. Again with the same fitment issues with the o2 sensor.

Both housings run the sensor straight into the pipe. Is my o2 sensors abnormally large? Or did I just purchase 2 lemon parts.

I haven read that people have rewelded a new o2 bung, but I dont know how to weld so now Im stuck with porting my old 1g housing or buying another.

Is there an extra thick manifold-to-turbo gasket that would drop my housing down 1/2 inch or so?

Or is there a midget version of the o2 sensor i could get?

Or maybe i could just bend the existing sensor 90 degrees and see what happens?

Thanks for the advice. I wont release the second vendors name until I see if they respond with some helpful feedback... hah

I almost died when the second o2 housing had the same problem. Still waiting for replies from the vendors.

that really sucks, sorry to hear o2 sensor doesnt fit.

theres a review on dsmtuners about the ebay SS o2 housings. Its a good piece for the price. I am currently running one, it is a great o2 housing for the price, there are definitely better ones on the market, but this did the trick(2 years so far).

I would say, watch out for the cxracing pieces, and the mirage power ebay seller. Is there much of a difference in porting my 1g housing over a 2g?

I've also read about fully grinding down the divider rather than just opening the runner sizes on the housing. Anyone have experience with this? Guess I'll be doin some port work tomorrow. Now I gotta use that ugly brow housing again.
