O2 elim.?

I was looking at SBR for a turbo-back exhaust and i saw the option for an O2 eliminator. Whats the idea for this? Is it better for the car? Im really new the the 4g63t way of life so any help would be awsome. Thanks.

Basically it just eliminates the 02 sensor housing as a seperate piece so the downpipe and 02 housing are all one piece. I think it's supposed to help cure boost creep.
