Dipstick fitment with 3" O2 Elim. Downpipe?

Today was day two of my RNR O2 Elim 3" turboback install, and after I finally got the O2 housing off and the new piece put it (pain in the ANUS, I shouldn't have ordered the o2 elim), and I forgot to put the dipstick housing back in the block before I reinstalled everything. It took a considerable amount of "persuation," but I finally got the dipstick housing back in the hole in a similar position to where it was, but now the bracket won't line up with the mounting holes in the block. I don't feel I can move it to line up correctly, and after looking at it some more I'm not even sure that putting it in before I put the turbo back in place would have helped, because it seems to be hitting on the O2 housing. Is this a common problem? Please don't tell me I have to take the o2 housing off to put the dipstick housing back in, because I don't feel like going through all that again (removed turbo and all coolant/oil lines). It doesn't seem like it's going to move because of how much I had to cram to get it where it's sitting now, but should I be able to get the bracket to line back up?

Im not to sure about the problems. With my RnR o2 eliminator, i jsut left dip stick i place and bent it over a bit so it wouldnt be in the way. Next time you ahve it off, you should consider taking it to muffler shop and having them cut it and put flanges on the ends. Me and my friend cut mine where it starts to cross oilpan and it was cake to put back on when before it use to take like 3 hours to get it on. Also make sure the DP isnt touching your oil filter

Yeah I'm thinking I might just have to bend it around a bit to get it to line up. I really don't like the idea of not having it secured to the block. BTW about the oil filter, I drained my oil while I was putting it on so I could drop the turbo, and then after I had the new pipe on I tried to put my new oil filter on and it wouldn't even fit! I got very angry, but then I read a little on here and headed down to Napa, where I picked up a filter for an EVO 8, fits perfectly.
