Nubee tryin' to find JDM parts

I'm brand new and have been tryin' to find valves for a JDM motor that was in my car when I bought it. I know it's not a motor seen on ANY site that I've found so far. It's a 6G73, DOHC, V-6, 2.5. It came out of a 91 Diamante. Parts are not available for this motor in the U.S. In Fact, noone I've contacted so far has ever heard of this motor. But, I know it exists because I found one on e-bay the other day.

If anyone is able to get JDM parts for this motor, I would name my next child after you, to get 3 intake valves for this motor. Mine jumped time, and the result was 2 bent intake valves. I'm sending off a good valve right now, to have some made by Ferrea in Fl. But, that will take two weeks and be kinda expensive. I don't care about the price, I just want the car back up and running. Thanks.

I bet if you went to the 3kgt forums you'll find plenty of the valves. For one thing, that's not a JDM motor. Another is we do not run that motor in our cars and majority of the people on here don't know anything about it.

yeah your best bet is go to the 3000gt fourms for help with that motor

I'm a member of 3SI and have been for awhile. I have been tryin' to find these valves for about a week and a half. I have sent out 30 e-mails and called 20 different companys. And YES, that is a JDM motor. It was never offered in the U.S. in a DOHC version, only Japan. I'm looking for SOMEONE who has a connection to get JDM parts.

Nope, it's a SOHC too. I've found tons of sites that offer the SOHC version, but none in DOHC. It's a Japan ONLY version.

The 6G73 displaced 2.5 L (2497 cc or 152 cid). It was a 24-valve SOHC design with 2 valves running off one cam lobe, with a smaller bore than the 3.0 liter version of the same block. Bore and stroke were 3.29 x 2.99 (83.5 x 76.0); it was a 60-degree V6 and weighed around 342 lb (155 kg). The engine had low-profile cast aluminum heads which helped it to fit into small engine bays, while pent-roof combustion chambers increased efficiency and made room for four valves per cylinder, arranged in a cross-flow pattern with a "tumble" intake port for both strong breathing and low emissions. Spark plugs were centered in the combustion chambers. The intake valves were 1.30 inches (33 mm) in diameter while exhaust valves were 1.14 inches (29 mm). A toothed timing belt was used. [1]

P.S. No that is NOT a "jdm" engine.

It was only released in Japan in DOHC version. Thats why I can't find the valves here. SOHC valvles are too long on the stem. head and stem diameter are the same but the stem is too long. That's why I'm tryin to find someone who can get parts from Japan.

I've got the motor that has cast markings 6G73 on the block, is 2.5 and has DOHC and is a
V-6 in my car. It does exist, because I have one. It was in my car when I bought it. You can't argue with fact. I just need someone that can get parts from japan. I'm not here to argue whether the motor THAT IS IN MY CAR is what it is. I NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN GET PARTS FROM JAPAN.

BTW when I put nubee in the title, that just meant I was new to THIS forum. Not to cars. I've been ownin' classic V-8 cars since 1978. And have built several. (more than 8)

You do realize that the cars on this forum are NOT "JDM y0"?

You do realize we can get parts from Chrysler dealerships?

All the effort you are putting into posting here could be better spend on a forum that has some remote connection to your issue, not a forum for cars build in Normal IL.

Yes, I understand that. But, I was directed to this site by a dealer that THOUGHT I might get some help. If you don't have any information about how I could get in contact with a Japnese auto parts dealer. DON'T READ THE POST.

If you had read the intire post, including looking at the pic, You know that I have contacted everyone in the U.S. to find this engine. They ALL tell me it was never released in the U.S. ONLY JAPAN!

I have posted about this problem on several different forums and this is the most harrasment I have recieved from any of them.

You've broken the bumping rule, the contention with a moderator rule, and both happened AFTER our fine members tried to help you with an off the wall request.

My post was rooted in your continued disbelief that we aren't all JDM part distributors with "the hook up", and your incessant need to push the issue concerning a part that has NO bearing on our vehicles. Did I mention that we don't generally work on your motor, nor its mythical JDM counterpart with unicorn valves.

Guess what, Skippy? You have contributed NOTHING to the forum (notice the light blue name and title you are assigned) and you're asking us to perform a miracle that you, in your infinite wisdom, have not yet been able to accomplish.

They tried. They hit the same stumbling block as you, but you're too dense to realize it. Scrolling up might help, though.
