it's true some are ass"s but i've met plenty of cool Evo owners, like my banker, he's got a IX and he's like in his 30s , and the guy I bought my intake manifold off of was cool,he was an EvoX and you know Ryan with his VIII

that is so true !!!! specially when you have a galant vr4.... they dont even know that it was the first "evo" !!!!

On the contrary, last years meet about a little more than half knew what my car was, but works mitsubishi gave me props for it, they were all crowded around my car

I was busy that day and didn't have time to stop by. I drove past like three or four times though (I live near there) and saw the huge crowd.

And yeah, I have a white 91 GVR4. I have no idea what number though, the badge was missing when I got it. Cosmetically it's kind of beat looking. It's not THAT bad, but I want to fix it up and repaint it before I start driving it. It's also got a nice leak from the oil pump, need to fix that and replace the front case... 3/4 synchro is messed up. Other than that, the motor is still in good shape. Not too much to fix. I recently scored some EVO VIII rear seats for it and am going to pick up some EVO VIII front seats and a steering wheel this weekend. It'll be a while before I get around to driving it.

I grew up a dsm'er. That's stuck with me for life. Taught me how to be a mechanic too. And speaking of the ones who work on their cars...

Yeah, same user name as here. I haven't posted much yet and have kinda of slowed down on viewing the forums. I started getting too many ideas as far as projects and parts I wanted to buy for the car. I'm not ready for that yet. haha. Gotta slow down and let my wallet get a little fatter first.

idk what the gvr4 people want to do yet, we have some from far away coming, and the other half of them are from antioch to manteca area, so ill see wassup with them. if Frisco people want to meet up, lets meet up in san bruno at the starbucks, good parking lot, cops dont harass.
