im looking at a 1990 gsx eagle talon.
"The only problem with the car is that it grinds going into 2nd at high rpm and sometimes it grinds going into 1st. Also the check engine light is on but when I scanned it all it said was 2.0 turbo federal nothing else no code number at all so I have no idea whats causing that."
can the trannsmision be fixed easily? if so how much would it cost? does it need a rebuild? Secondly what does that engine code mean?
the mods are "ACT 2600, b16g, turbo back exhaust 2.5 to 3 after flex, 4 bolt rear end, 2g piston 1g rod block, Kyb GR2 shocks with H&R springs, Autometer AF gauge greddy boost gauge and 255 fuel pump."
how much boost could you run with that setup? and could i launch the car (after i gett the tranny fixed) with that clutch and the 4 bolt rear?
