I was bumping my starter over (1990 1g) to break the crank bolt loose when I was doing my timing belt.

My starter stopped bumping over =[
I'm thinking either a fuse or relay failed, it looked like the previous owner bypassed the clutch pedal safety switch somehow. I'm not familiar with chassis electronics on these cars. What happened?

do you still have power to your accessories? lights/radio etc... do you hear the tell tale clicking of starter failure? need more details to properly diagnose.

side note, bypassing the clutch safety switch is simple, all you have to do is unplug the switch. I have mine disconnected because there is supposed to be a little rubber stop that fits into a tab on the pedal that actually presses the switch, and I don't have that little rubber stop.

battery is fine, no starter cliicking. started solenoid isnt receiving any juice.

800 mile roadtrip due tomorrow. i dont wanna push start my car there. help?

Check Grounds and Relays.

There's a multitude of things that could have happened, unfortunantly. =/

The starter is the culprit! Between me, 4 years driving, 100k+ miles, this is my SEVENTH car and the FIRST starter to fail!!!

From bumping the crank gear off LOL. These cars are pissy.
