I am working on a 99 GST for a friends son. While driving it died, no spark on any plugs, no fuel pump running either.
The CAS tests out good:
BLK = 0 ohms to ground
BLU/Red = 5.2V
RED = 12V
and
BLU/Red while cranking = .4V to 3.2V
The CPS did not test good but I got
BLK = 6.5 ohms to ground
BLU/WHt = 5.2V
RED = 12V
BLU/WHT while cranking stayed at 5.5V or so constant
the testing procedure says The CPS is bad if it reads 0V and it should vary from .4V to 4V but what about it staying high or 5.5V constant? I am assuming that it means bad also?
Thanks
