alright heres the story...i have a 1990 talon tsiawd, my timing belt snapped and killed my valves. so after i scraped up enough money to fix it and get it remachined we installed it. when it finally came time to start her up....it didn't want to. it turns over but will not start. we get no spark or gas.here is everything we've tried so far...new coil-pack,new plugs and wires, check to see if there was power to the coil pack, checked for spark...no gas at all, checked all the grounds, timing is correct! a guy i know said that if i turn my key to the on possition and the check engine light comes on then my computer and ecu are fine. could it be that my camsensor is off that bad or what? can someone please help me i to get back to the races!!

Well, your CAS could be bad as I have had to replace a few of them.
What concerns me more is did you "absolutely" make sure everything was plugged in properly?

If you have a no spark situation, you can find a buddy and try his cas to make sure.
Now, when you say "no gas" do you mean no gas to the plugs? Or do you mean the fuel pump is not coming on? There's a big difference in how you would approach that problem. Tell us which one. Check also for 12 volts to your injectors. That would tell me at least that you have voltage there. Other than that you will need a schematic. I don't have my manual here and won't be near it till Monday.

Those darn Hanes manuals should cover where you may be losing voltage.
Do these checks and repost what you find.

BTW check all of your fuses. You never know.

Good Luck

another thing i didn't mention was not all the vaccum lines are not hooked up yet cause i don't know where half them go. are any of them really important other than the one from the bov to the intake manifold. my buddy said it should still start without all them hooked up and if anything it would still start but bog out right after.

All of the vacuum lines are important. Some to a lesser degree. Get yourself a manual, or find a car like yours and install them properly.

Then do the test and let us know what you find.

Good Luck

BTW, I won't be back till Late Saturday, or even Sunday. I'll check what you post then.

Yes check your fuses. Does your tach move at all when you start your car?
