I got 91 eagle talon tsi awd automatic. I drive fine for the 3 days I owned it and it just died.No spark at all.Where do I begin. All wire connections are tight.

You may want to try checking the battery, plugs, wires and ignition coils  Just a guess

Check the coil packs. If that isnt it check the ignition control module. I just fixed mine. It was the control module for me. The Chilton/Haynes manual has step by step on how to test the parts.

I was driving home one day and herd a knock in the engine and found out later
that a rod came loose so i decided to pull the engine out and rebiuld it and i just
put it back in and now im not getting any fire to the spark plugs i dont know if the
cam sensor should be retimed or something because i dont think anything could go bad just by sitting their.

I tested the coil pack and power transistor per Haynes guide..I can't believe I am testing the right way. Both test bad. So on a hunch I put 12 volts to #2 terminal on coil and grounded the body.Still no spark. Is there a better test for these parts? And is the Power Transistor another name for Power Module?

I dont use haynes manuals, but I can tell you that another thing you may want to check is to make sure your cas isnt 180 degrees out.

That wont matter, the car would still run. Assuming the cam sensor is in good working condition. The cam sensor still controls the ignition and fuel timing so it still could be the problem :talon:

After I removed the Transistor and Coils and tested them in a donar car.No I got spark. Then it dropped out all of a sudden.Looking around some more I found the ground wire off.Now it ran for awhile.I thought I was in the clear.I tried it again 3hrs later. It did start then it just went dead again.I just left the key in the on postion and I heard a click. The turbo gauge bounced to 0psi from the negatives.I don't have a clue now.Does not look like I can drive without AAA now..Help ME PLease

What year transistors will work with my car? There is a 1990 transistor on ebay will that fit?

Count the pins on your existing transistor and match one up with it. I believe theres a 5 pin one and a seven pin one. I have a 5 pin one sitting in my garage thats of no use to me.

I tried it in my friends car and his car worked with my parts..Today I pulled out ECU.I heard someone said they had leaking caps.Sure enough so do I..Will this cause my No spark? The only time I can start car is when I get a lucky chance when I hear click and boost gauge bumps to 0 psi. If I need ECU do ya know any one with a match?
