No Power When trying to go

I just installed a 1G motor in to my 2g. Now I'm hat mving trouble with getting it started, but i still can get it start just takes a min. Buy main problem is that when I hit the gas the car doesn't want to go any where. It will move but slow. Once I start getting up to speed I can go but not as fast I should be going. If I push the gas the car just barely moves. After i get higher in rpms the car moves a little better but not much. The car also wont idle. As far as I can tell I every wire hooked up, Checked the Timing thats good, Checked the firing order thats right. checked all the fuses and all relays. have no vac leaks. Anyone got any ideas.(edited5-4-09 3:48)

for starters why are you trying to make it go fast when something is obviously wrong? Did you do the install yourself? It could be a number of things. If you dont know everything about the engine you put it and where it came from. I would start with the basics. Check timing marks/compression/boostleaktest/fuel pressure. Then if you havent fixed your problem give us the details from above tests.

I surely hope the timing wasnt way off and you bent a bunch of valves trying to make it "go fast" when it was having idling/starting issues. Ive seen this before

It is possible your spark plug wires are not connected in the right order. However, usually you would hear the engine makeing odd noises. This is a symptom of slow acceleration and hard-to-start.

No boost leak builds great boost..vacuum leaks I will have to check for but I didn't hear anything but that doesn't mean that there isn't one. I wasnt really trying to make it go fast, I'm say it doesn't move as fast as it should. Yes I installed it my self. timing marks are good checked that before I put the motor in. Fuel pressure should be good since it was fine with my other motor that i just threw a rod in on thursday. I also checked the firing order when it wasn't running right.

Is the Check Engine Light on? Check for codes, fuses, wiring, battery, compression, pressure and etc. Is your MAF plugged in?

No check engine light. MAF is Plugged in.

If you're revving it and the rpm's are going up but the car isn't moving, I would start with the transmission. Are you sure you installed the clutch correctly.

No its not revving. And some more info on the car. It has the 2g CAS. Well it has both but only the 2g is plugged in. Also if I sit in the car and rev it up. It revs slow and once it hit 2000-3000 it starts to back fire out the exhust. Just put a new map sensor on the car. That didn't help. And yes I know that there isn't a spot for the MAP but I found a empty bolt hole and bolted it there and ran a vac line to it.

Edit: Got spark on all four cyc, got fuel to all four also.
Edit: No compression on cyc 1&4 so going to put new head on it. well if i can put my 2g head on there!
