2G No power to the ECU.

alright i tried everything i check all fuses, all relays and i have no power to the ecu.. i have aem also so i even tried with that and nothing. for now i have the stock ecu hooked up and im at a lose right now any ideas?? 98 gsx

Have you checked for power at the MPI relay?

hey steve yes i have checked power at that relay and i have nothing.. only power i have going into the ecu is the memory one.

You said you checked the fuses so unless you toasted your wiring harness the 20A MFI fuse (Link #4) should be getting power from the battery and two pins at the MFI relay should also have power. There is nothing but wire in between the fuse and relay. You have to get power there before you'll even get power to the ECU.

alright im working in garage now on it what do u mean by link #4? and the 20a MFI fuse is under the hood correct?

The blue 20A MFI fuse is fusable link #4 and it is under the hood in the relay box.

Make sure to pull the fuse and measure it's resistance then switch to volts and measure the voltage on the two pins it's plugs into. One will be hot with battery voltage and the other have nothing until a good fuse connects it to the hot pin.
