car runs rich and is in shop they are saying there is no o2 signal and they are also saying that my car needs a cat and that would fix the prblem but i know that i dont need a cat becasue every talon i seen never had a cat and it did not smell like gas/exhaust fumes. so i guess my question is what would most likely be the cause of my car running rich. if there was no signal to the o2 sensor would it casue it to run rich and make the idle go crazy? meaning up and down up and down and dont run right until warmed up .. ?:(
