No more cat?!!

I am going to be replacing my stock down pipe and cat with a solid piece that will eliminate the cat. I will be putting the O2 sensor back in right about where it was to begin with. Should I expect to get a code from the ECU with this change? The pipe I found is made by "Authority". I found it at Importboost.com for $165.00. SS mandrel bent. Seems like a Ok deal to me.

You might get a CEL. Some people do and some don't. I did though. If you don't want to have it, there's a way to bypass it.

i dunno about 92's but my 90 is on the o2 housing...not the downpipe...so if you are getting a 02 eliminator then there should be a bung welded in already...just screw it in...

My 92 has the o2 sensor on the o2 housing, not the cat.
