OK I drive a 97 gsx with a 92 6 bolt motor. I was driving it fine then one morning started it up and the coil wasn't firing on 1 + 4. I did notice one of the mounting brackets for the coil is broken and i was curious if maybe they grounded out through the brackets? and If not then what could the problem be?

Ya last time I tested the transistor it checked out ok but I also used a digital ohm meter which they said not to do so ill retest it. I also hooked up to my DSMLink just to see what it said and it showed my RPMs where 1000 higher then what they really where?

I have replaced the ignition coil and Tested the CAS so I know its not those two so i'm guessing either Transistor or CPU.

1 and 4 use the same coil, get a new coil.

oops did not see the part about replacing the coil LOL:banghead:

OK so I guess the only thing left to change is the ECU since that is the only other thing?
(Changed coil, CAS, and transistor)
