I been tryin to fix my no start issuse on my car. I have the car cranking no fuel or spark. I replaced cam, crank sensors, re timed put a new wiring harness in cause the other one was all spliced up. Nothing has helped much besides the wiring harness help all the gauges are reading but the tach. When i turn the key on i dont see the cel kick on, i already check the bulb its good. Then when i crank the car the rpms dont move on the tach. And when i hook the obdII tool on it the tool tell me to makes sure key is on or open. Apparently I am not getting power to the ecu still can anyone help me on how to pin the ecu and figure out where im not getting power or does anyone know what could cause this.

Cam sensor and A/c sensor have same plug type. You have them in the right order?
If you are not getting power I would start figure out where your wires are cut or shorting out. Possible bad grounds?
I am no electrician so I would grab a chiltons manual or Haynes. To look up wiring diagrams.

To pin your ECU you need a diagram and multi-meter. Link to service manual is below. After you get the right diagram with the pinout of the ecu connector you use your meter to check available voltage on all the pins that receive 12v to verify you are getting power. Then you will ###### want to check resistance on a few ground circuits to verify you have ground.

I do not know excactly what causes your issue but with your no cel , tach and scan tool connectivity problems it definitely is an issue with the ecu or wiring. I would do a ecu swap to rule out or verify the wiring.

I got the plugs right i marked them when i got the new wiring harness. And someone told me that if the rpms dont bounce when cranking means the cam sensor is bad which i already replaced. I dont know what else to do besides start testing the ecu for a power shortage. And i got three ecus one 95 and two 96 but none of them make a difference when i hook them up.

if the ecu swap does not change anything then it is in the wiring somewhere. You will have to do the pin out with a multi meter and the wiring diagram.

Sorry its been a while been busy so what all pin do i need to check on the ecu? Would a possible ignition contol mod bein bad could casue no power to the ecu for the obdII?

you need to look at a wiring diagram and make sure your ecu is getting all 12v powers and all of its grounds if its missing even one it wont work/run right. so check and double check you have all powers and grounds coming into the ecu not going out. hope it helps let us know
