hrmm.. The fact that NX doesn't even make a dry kit for our cars is strange. Hrmm..

I own a 98 Eclipse RS just shy of 100,000 miles and I'm running a NOS dry kit w/ 75 shot at the moment. I've done all the basic bolt ins as well as cam gears, and plugs. I took my car to have it dyno'd to see what was happenning under the hood with and without the shot. Without I ran 108 hp and 162 with. The fuel curve was terrible, and I was told to purchase a S-AFC to fix it. Apperently, the car runs super lean with or without NOS until 6000 rpm when it suddenly becomes rich in fuel until redline.

What I need to know is has anyone else ran into this problem and what did you do to fix it? Please help...

And by the way, a 75 shot will only allow you to run 15.3 and up...my personal best was 15.4 so 14's on a 50 shot sound kinda impossible.

Looking at your horsepower rating of 108...

This kinda scares me cause I dont know what I have except for the fact my car is the same as yours. 108 at the wheels without and 162 with? Thats not a true 75 shot. Nos rates their kits at the flywheel as if you were running a NX 75 shot you would be at 183hp. This is also due to the better gains over wet kit versus a dry kit. To me, it sounds like you need to replace your fuel pressure regulator to fix the lean condition. Once you do this I think you will find the car running a little rich all the time so you would then need to advance the timing. This is just MHO

Actually, I've looked for a fuel presure regulator and I'm sure I don't have one, atleast not in the engine bay. Others have told me the same, the RS model doesn't have a fuel presure regulator. Tell me if I'm wrong and if there's anyway to bump up the fuel.

I have a 96 Esi with Nitrous Works wet kit on it. All i have is exhaust, header, intake, msd wires + ignition coil and a test pipe. With the 75 shot i ran a 14.9 at 95 mph. I was only able to make one good run because i had a minor problem with the fuel solenoid otherwise no major problems. Im guessing if i could have gotten another good run i could have done around 14.7
