I'm looking at nitrous kits, but I'm not gonna put nitrous on my car just yet (i plan on it soon though)... my engine isn't ready for it, and I know that it needs built to handle it safely, and I know enough to be asking about it, but I'm not an expert, and I've never installed a nitrous kit before.

That said, I was just wondering if this kit is EVERYTHING I will need to hook it up?

If I'm going to get a kit, I'm not gonna start off with a cheaper, less powerful kit, because its just a waste of money in the long run... so, tell me what you think of that kit

Thanks

Negative... Stay single nossle. You can spray as high as 200hp with single nossle.

Look around for pricing for this system. Single nossle is easier to install, no need to pull and drill your intake manifold out, and easily removable if you need to. It's cheaper and a lot less parts involved. Single nossle comes with 35-50-75hp jets you can also get 100-125-150-175-200 hp jets for it which run fine. I have personally run 200hp single nossle with no problems at all. There simply is no such thing as puddeling in the intake manifold anymore with new kits, the nossle technology is so good this is a thing of the past.

Direct port is really if your gonna race hard core at the track, otherwise single nossle is a much better street/race system. If you never plan on using it on the street and run your car strictly as a hardcore race car then direct port is the way to go if your buying a full nitrous race car. Otherwise stick with single nossle, trust me. I have had both and would go single nossle again before direct port anyday.

I do not plan on hardly ever using nitrous on the street... I don't street race much, just at the track only... if you can go that high with single then why is direct port talked about as the best systems? from what ive gathered... dpi is the way to go if you can afford it, and that kit isn't that expensive really.

if i can consistantly get 75 - 125 hp with single, then ill probably go with that because of the price... any last words on the matter?

thx

Another bad thing about direct port is that there are 4 nozzles to fail, not just 1. And you can't tell which nozzle, if one of the fuel nozzles is clogging, until your engine blows up.

Single nozzle is definitely the way to go. Cheaper, easier, safer, and plenty of HP. NOS sucks though. Nitrous Express is good.

ok, thanks. Ill go with single nozzle.

Definatly going with NX. I wouldn't have at first... "Express" for some reason kinda makes it sound like a cheap "wannabe" brand, but when i started reading about them, they are really good.
