Ok, planning on putting a small shot nitrous on the Laser, and wondering if the motor will hold it - or not necessarily hold it - but whats the most i can run - i was planning on the Wilson manifold 75 shot kit (its laying around) and bottle pressure around i dont know, 1200 psi. Sound about right?

not tryin to be annoying about it-

but why are they not good motors to run nitrous - so what - even if i ran somethin like a 35 shot (just to mess around) with low bottle pressure it will mess motor up? I mean, i know the stuff is meant to do that - but will it last very long?

It depends how its tuned. If it has enough fuel for the nitrous, it shouldn't cause much of a problem. If you're running it dry into the motor or it's tuned crappy, then it's going to cause a nice sound to come from the front of the car. If you're going to run nitrous, have it tuned properly to lower the risk of damage.

BS. The stock 4G63 is fully capable of running a shot of nitrous.
Completely safe for stock 4G63 engines. A stock 4G63 can make about 400WHP with no problems. Nitrous is no more damaging to your engine than a 400whp capable turbo if it is tuned correctly, despite what Hollywood says.

finally the answer i was looking for! how much nitrous are we talking here? i ran a 12.8 the first time ever at the track with stock smic and fuel pump, and i want to hit at least an 11.9 , i think i can achieve this with 50-75 shot of nitrous , wet of course, on a good tune and 22psi? is this feasable?

start on the low side and keep your eyes and ears on what the motor is telling you and work your way up don't just trust you gages do some physical looking of the motor, like plugs, coolant, oil.do some research on this and be smart about it.you just stick it on and push the button you want last long.
